No.

62/3 are the same but the bodies, despite looking similar, changed radically in '64. Windshield/cowl/roofline is completely different.

I have a '63 & a '64. Hoods interchange, fenders should too, and frame mounts for ft bumper brackets are the same, so I think the front sheet metal would be OK.
Cowl, windshield, dash, and front door upper window frames are different.
'62-'63s shared cowl, windshield, & dash panel, though much of the '62 is one year only.

Don't know about the dash, but the front clip will interchange. A guy had such a bastid for sale in the classifieds several years ago. I really couldn't blame him for making the change as the 64 Plymouth is the best looking car Mopar ever made...

Maybe this is a better pic. To me it looks like the fender ends right at the lower windshield on the 64 but on the 63 it looks like the fender ends about 4 or 5 inches before the lower windshield ? I know the hoods are the same as the glass hod on my car was bought by a friend for a 64. The only difference is the 64 has the chrome piece bolted on the very front of the hood. I really dont know about the fenders bolting on a 63 from a 64. The cowl on the 64 is not as wide as the 63's. And I do know the dashes are different. Ron

OK, guess we need a poll on Best Looking: '63 vs '64, huh?
I promise to only vote once.

Doors are the same EXCEPT the slant of the front post is different between '63 and '64 because of the changes in the roofline.

Sit these cars side by side and you will see the differences.

Dang, gy3, you've messed up the bet before I could try for some Canadian money !

Love the poll; best laugh of the day so far, thanks!

For the record, I think the '63 nose has more character than the '64. The '64 has better aerodynamics, but the '63 looks...happier, I guess.

Now that's a poll with no wrong answer...

IIRC the guy who changed the front clip is Bud Kramden and he lives in N.J. Also believe he's a member here.

Mark, as far as the A pillar goes, since nothing bolts directly off it its rake is irrelevant unless someone is trying to put Post doors on it. My thinking -- besides it having been done already -- is since the hood interchanges it must bolt to the hinges/fenders in the same location between the 63/64 -- unless the hinges are different. If the hood latch is the same for both models then the rad support is in the same location therefore the fenders should bolt up the same. Steve said the frame horns are in the same place for both models, soooo...

Kinda wish I still had my 63. It wouldn't be out of the question for me to try out this theory for myself.

I sent a PM to the guy I think did the change over, so we'll see... Maybe I'm thinking he hung a 64 ply front clip on a 64 dodge? Tough getting old...

Ron, maybe the next time we get together we'll look at this a little harder.

That's a good looking pic of the car, Ron. Too bad your ugly mug had to be in the shot.
