I took the 65s off.Soaked them in the parts cleaner for 2 days.Then used brake clean and pulled them back and forth spraying and pulling.then lubed them up real good.That and make sure the park arm that goes between the brake shoes has the small spring on them.It aids in releasing them.Rocky

unhook the end of the cable inside the drum from the lever & see if the prob is in the parking brake actuating and horizontle strut lever assy's (generally trouble free) or the cable itself. If the cable is not bound up the heavy spring on the inside end is strong enough to release it & if all good on those 2 areas check further upstream in the steel cable toward the front of the car, it goes thru the frame at 1 point
