I have a 63 B body with the split front bench seat. I'm trying to find out where the seat back bumper stops are positioned. These are the stops that prevent the seat back from going too far back. If anyone had a picture of an original seat back bumper in position for either the drivers or passengers side, that they could post, I would be very appreciative. Thank you.

YOU TOO???????

I messed up and redid my seats and forgot about them. Now I can't the find screw holes. Looks like some hog rings are coming back out.

Are they located in the backs or the bench of the seat? I made some for mine and after reading this post i'm not sure they are right.

I'm not sure. My seats were covered over, so unless I can find a pic of an original, I will have to uncover the frames.

However, I found these pics on ebay. Looks like the bumper mounts on the seat back with a flat washer on the seat base. These are a 62 Dart.

yeah..the washer on the bottom and plastic spacer on the seat backs.

What I want to know is where they found the rubber floor mats you have pictured? That's what came in my Savoy and the only piece I've found so far is an NOS front section that is damaged from rot.

Back to the drawing board for my home made spacers. I'd like to know about the floor mat also.

The plastic seat spacers and washers are being reproduced. There are a number of vendors who carry them. MEGAPARTS and KRAMERS are the first 2 that come to mind..

Parts of the original rubber mat were in my '63 Dodge 330 when I bought it but most was disintigrated.

It looked nothing like the black one above.

The rubber was a darker green (in a teal car) with ribs on it if I recall correctly.

I just called the dealer who is selling the car but he won't give me any info on who built the car and where the floor mats came from..

Maybe we should start a post on '62-'65 B-body rubber floor mats.

I saw that ad the other day.

Curious that he has no pics of engine/engine bay? ...or did I miss something?

It's pictured. It just takes time to download.

I bought a full set of material from SMS in Oregon. Had to have my trimmer make the covers up using the originals as patterns. That was about it for bench seats. I have seen bucket seat covers advertised, can't recall where at the moment.

SMS is the only game in town for the '62-3 B-bench covers. They only sell the material, you are on your own to have tem made into actual covers. The material for my '63 Savoy runs about $650.
