Where can I find placement measurements for install??

I just took the measurements off a 71 I'm doing before I removed them but it's at my shop. I'll take a look Monday with the measurements.

For 72';

do such drawings still exist for the 73/74 cars?

Thanks 72! Are those dimensions on the car from the wheel lip up or the body line? And from the corner of stripe forward to the end of the quarter at the jamb?

Vertical, about 2 1/4" from the detail/body line. I've seen some variation in the current 72' reproduction strips as to how close they come to that body line. Horizontal, the front edge of the quarter panel measured on a horizontal line parallel to the floor. I swiped that shot of the original stripe from somewhere with those notations, but it comes very close to the Performance Car Graphics stripe I used and their install guide. The problem with the engineering drawings is there is a "zero" point somewhere used as a reference for the fore &aft measurements shown. Rumor is it's around the lower windshield frame somewhere. Without knowing exactly where it is the dimensions are worthless.
