I need some advice guy's,
I'm having a problem getting my car to run good with the vacuum advance hooked up. It pings under light throttle.Runs fine with it disconnected. But I would like to run it hooked up.Here's my combo, Iron head 360/KB 107 pistons,
RPM intake, 234/244-.488/.510 hyd cam, mopar dizzy
w/crome box,16/18 inital 34/36 total,160/170 cranking P.S.I., 750 DP, TTI step headers ,2 1/2
full exhaust, 5-speed tremic, 391 gear. Can anybody tell me why I have vacuum @ idel from the port in the metering block? This is where you should hook up,correct?
Thanks Mike

Would the throttle blades be opened too far to where the transition slots are exposed & sending the vac signal that you are seeing? EDIT you can insert a 3/32" allen wrench into the vac can to reduce it. Cant remember if CW or CCW reduces it.
