Need help to figure when the F78-14 replaced the
7.75-14 in 1970.I have a F78-14 BF Goodrich spare
and I am trying to find where it is period correct. At the valve stem it has stampings [k29]
10 on the left of the valve stem and 29 5.5 on the right side.It has the label on it and the white gut removing valve cap.

Thank You for any Help given!

The F78-14 tires were introduced during the October/November 69 time frame. There was no definitive date when the change occured.

Your F78-14 tire (10/29/69 dated) would be considered very early for an AAR or T/A-
If you are searching for a more correct spare (for OE correctness) you would be looking for a tire/wheel dated in late January,February,March or April (depending on the build date of your car
