Does anyone repair or restore tuff wheels or should I just buy a new one.

I kinda think a leather wrapped original is nicer than a repo wheel?
MCB did 2 tough wheels for me(separate times) and one was really messed up from someone wrapping that sprilal stuff around it. He fixed all that and made it smooth again, he did great work on that one. I thought they were really nice for leather wrapped.
