Picked up my buddies '72 Challenger this afternoon @ Bob George's. Had BGR cut the old cobbled steel cage out, put all new moly cage in, completely re-do the back half, change steel mini tubs out to aluminum full tubs, re-frame it to fit a 32X14 tire, all new aluminum trunk floor etc. Installed parachute/fabbed mount & brackets.... Cut existing cage down bars in engine compartment out & relocate out through inner fenders, new 3/8" motor plate & tabs on frame & K frame. Re-did inner door panels on both the doors & the rear door panels, re-routed some wiring under the car... Installed new JW Ultra Bell on the 727 case after we cracked it @ end of last season. Almost all the work was done by Don M & Curt Jr. who has become one hell of a fabricator. No offense to Lou who did most of my SuperBee Cage/chassis @ BGR, but I think Curt did an even better job on the Challenger, I'm highly impressed @ how quickly he has learned the trade. Both the car owner & I are very pleased with not only the quality of the work, but the price was impossible to beat. Also we dropped the car off in November & they hustled to get it done early so we could get the header work done & make the beginning of the season. This was a 10.0 Bracket car, & we are looking @ putting new 481" W8 motor in it here & needed to upgrade the chassis to handle it. Will get it out to header shop here in a week or so to get set of headers made & when they come back I can get motor on dyno. Here are couple pics.... Thanks BGR

Ryan,we are happy that you and Rick were satisfied with the work.Donny and Curt spent a lot of time and effort and it certainly showed.Curt Jr has come a long way, like all of us at BGR we still have a long way to go before we can say that we are at the same level that my late son Curt had achieved. The best thing about the Misfits at BGR is that all these guys are racers, they know their crafts, either engine building, machine work, fabbing, chassis and componant assembly, welding and choosing parts and combos, they know it's purpose and how it needs to function in practial application. The list of racers that are based and help at the shop is unbelievable.Chaz, myself and AJ,Donny,Curt Jr.Eric,Dave,Pap,Allen,Darryal,Bill,Stan,Grant,Frank,Britt and Joe are just a few of many who share their time and knowledge here at BGR.With such an outstanding group with a wealth of knowledge from a lot of years racing makes BGR the success that it is.A special thanks goes out to Debby for keeping it all in some order and we will always respect my son Curt for creating the BGR team years ago.

As for the door panels it's alot easier to keep the orginal ones on A, older B and E-bodys due the design of them. Those on e-body's and newer B's actually have a desgin while the others are just a piece of board Makes it harder to nicely work the cage around it. Looks good though!
