im trying to take apart my column in the pic im trying to take off the piece that is in the right of the pic, it has a bearing pressed onto the shaft any ideas?

It has threaded holes for a puller right? IIRC there is a snap ring holding it's place on the shaft. Remove the snap ring and use a puller. I might be wrong, but I think it is that easy.

Pull the snap ring....it's there but not in the diagram..at the middle of the shaft next to the bearing.

well since i dont use the column shift anymore i decided to shave down the gear indicater i just cut off the material and ground it smooth. took out the column shift rod to save a couple pounds

You can use JB Weld to fill any holes
