Steel hood? If so the dual snorkel. Glass hood=6pack, or cowl.

Yep, on a steel hood, dual snorkel looks the best. The bolt on 6 pak scoops don't look right to me. With a glass hood i prefer the 6 pak. I just ordered a dual snorkel scoop through VFN for $110 plus shipping. Everyone elses that i've seen has been double the price. We'll see in 5 or 6 weeks if the quality is there or not.

PERSONAL PREFEREENCE is what it is all about. someone out-there is offering a dual-snorkel with a larger opening. That might be a more effective piece.

If a race car use the 6 pack scoop,if a street car it don't matter, dual snorkel is good for carb clearence.

That must be some good stuff you are smoking ! 6pk and snorkle scoops rule on A-bodies and I like the twin 340 scoops too.

Maybe it should be "snort" instead of "snork"!!
Just kidding,,I do kinda' like the 6pk scoop,,if I can get to work right.

Yes it started out as one of the aar 4" or what ever it is.And then we cut the bottom off of it and added another 2 or 2.5 inches I can't remember.I have a side view i'll have to get my brother to post it for me.

On a semi-related note, when I went to put the 72 duster hood on my 70 duster, the hood did not have adjusters in the side of it like every other duster hood ive ever seen. Needless to say it sits a little crooked and i cant adjust it, anyone ever seen this?
