where would it hookup? I already have an aftermarket oil pressure, coolant temp, and voltmeter set, but I want a simple on for my engine RPM's. Probably will just grab one from Autozone but need to know where it hooks up at

thanks

Negative side of the coil. And of course a switched positive, a light positive (that illuminated the tach when you turn on the lights--if you tap into the dash light power then your dash dimmer switch will also control tach lighting), and a ground.

In that era, the orange wiring is for the lights.

I want my fair share

A new tachometer will come with instructions on how to wire it.
