is it anyone who know if i could bay a new electronic and wiring for these transmissions,i wanted to put it into my 1933 plymouth hotrod with 5.7 hemi

I'm not sure about a 45rfe but when it later became the 545 rfe it was used behind the 5.7 hemi

i have checked som out. tci have the controller and wiring for 45 rfe/5-45rfe transmissions.

is it the same bellhousing on the 4.7 engine as the 5.7 engine.i found alot more transmissions for the 4.7 than the 5.7 hemi.contoller doesent mather because i'm going for the tci or megasquirt

The 45RFE and the 545RFE are the same transmissions. The only difference is in the electronics as the 545RFE controller just added a gear by applying different clutches to get another gear ratio. Ron

I spoke with TCI several month ago, they told me there was no stand alone computer for this trans. I have a 04 5.7Hemi and a 5-45RFE. I am using the factory computer to manage the system.

i was i contact with tci and them told me that they dont have a controller for this transmission.but everywhere they sell these 377500 controller they advertised them to 45rfe and they also have the 377505 chrysler 45rfe-545rfe wiring harness for it.i'm litlebit confused now.

i got a message from TCI.they have been taken those parts out of the marked.megasquirt say that their computer could controll the 45 rfe transmission but nobody have tryed it yet.
does anybody else know about any controller that works on this transmissions?

nobody who have tryed to use this transmission without the original electronic?
