I cant make up my mind about the flex pipe. I have solid motor mounts and a 10/12pt cage will be going in. Will I be fine as is? Should I add one in the 3" section after the merge? Should I add one in the passenger side piping before the merge or should I do both?

add it in the pipe goin from the drivers side to the passenger side like on my pic. It is so the pipes can expand and contract so it doesnt crack the headers or any joint. Make sure you get one without the braid on the inside

I wont be able to fit one in before the merge so would after the merge be ok? Mandrel bend solutins which is right down the street from you/me has the nice ones with out the braided inside.
