This is for a pulling truck, the rules were changed to allow alum heads this year.
Engine must be naturally aspirated. Any single four-barrel carb allowed with any cast aluminum intake manifold, No sheet metal intakes. 470 cubic inch or 58.75 per cylinder. GASOLINE IS RESTRICTED see general rule #37. Cast iron block, any cast iron heads. Aluminum heads that meet the following criteria are allowed. a.) OEM intake port locations b.) Accepts OEM production valvetrain c.) Exhaust ports can only be raised a maximum of 5/8" of an inch. 10. Open exhaust is allowed and must exit down and back, upright headers allowed.
we currently are using 440 c could we run any B1's, if so with cubic in limit how much hp could be gained? Thanks for any input.

The rule on limiting the raised exhaust port may be a factor now on all of the after market race siameze port heads My B1 have 76 CC chambers, Koffel wanted to make them 51.0 CC, I'm not sure what they measure now or when cut down, call Koffels or E mail them to find out what the 51.0 CC heads measure to the floor of the exhaust ports

No you can't use the B1 , they don't have standard port location OR use stock valvetrain

i am running a 400 block still, my combo made almost 750 with the -1c There are no other dodges in the class so all rules were set around Ford and Chevy heads i think they were trying to keep out the ex514 ford not sure what it keeps out on chevy. How much is the B1 raised as these are what i would like to build a combo for if i can run them
