I'm looking for a pressure oil pump for my roadrace HEMI. It now has some intriguing NASCAR pump from the early 70s and I never found anything like that in any catalog. This HEMI 426 engine has an internal scavenge pump with a -16 exit that feeds a dry sump tank. Idealy the pressure pump should have a -16 or at least -12 inlet and two -10 connectors for the oil cooler. It need to be driven of the regular MOPAR big block oil pump shaft. Do you think that a Keith Black oil pump would do that ? Do you have other suggestions ?

Is it the one with the chain off the crank that drive the pump. I think the cranks are special for those.

Pic of the front section of the pan.... There's picture of the setup in the 74 Petty Racing Part Catalog.

Might want to contact Milodon.

They have a 100% new bolt on big block oil pump with better gear design than stock. They have been displayed the winter racing shows, but I don't think they are quite on the market yet from what they said.
