the drums I am running on my 76 dart are 11 x 2-3/4 Inch Brakes. However I do have to go to 15" rims because the 14" Ralleys are just too tight on there.

big or small pattern? I'd always thought that the std 1&3/4" SBP ones were it unless you went BBP. There was something way back about the 7&1/4 backing plate/drum that could be swapped for more shoe width that Mark Nixon came up w (& it think it made the archives) but not sure if it was sbp or bbp & it was too far back.

Ted...
you can put 11 x 3 drum on the rear as long as you get the backing plates to go with them.
That is what i have on my 69 Barracuda.
I got those off a 78 Dodge Magnum or Monaco..I think...

the stock A-body has its own axle offset and backing plates for 1 3/4" brakes with sbp
if it has been a narrowed housing and you have the large brake off set on the axle you can use any BP-drums from
8 1/4 8 3/4 9 1/4 d-60
i used 73 newport BP-drums 11x2.5 on my narrowed a-body 8 3/4 with large brake offset axles
just get BP and brake hardware from any spare axle of your size and like
I ran 12 disc(R-body cop car) on 73 a-body spindles with 11x2.5 rear brakes on my 68 Dart with the 2-bolt alum MC
stoped real fast and no locking up
