I need 2 water pump studs to hold up my motor to my motor plate and cant seem to find anything bigger than 3-1/4
I think I could get away with 3.5 but 4" would be better. Anyone know where to get a pair.
I found MSC direct but like the ARP quality better.

Keith, I ran into the same problem and called ARP direct. They will sell you 1 stud if needed. Took a little longer than from Summit or Jegs, but not real bad. I'm thinking it was about a week or so. They were very helpful.

Which motor, SB or BB? I bought grade 8 studs from them after calling thier tech people to get the part number for both lengths for the BB Mopar motors using the stock early water pump housings, I did add 3/4 inch to the under head bolt length for the 1/4 inch motor plate and nuts and washers I ended up ordering them from Summit(cheaper than buying them direct from ARP) and had them drop ship them to my shop from ARP

I cut 3/8" all thread and used nuts and washers on them. I haven't had any problems yet.

Check with your local parts store with dorman products. They have a complete line of hardware. Plus you can get a grade 8 threaded rod.

ARP has them. I use SST studs with a bullet nose. Very high quality parts, better than anything else out there.

What size stud would you recommend for BB with stock Mopar housing and your AFE 3/8" motorplate?

You have to measure it to see. A stock water pump housing has different length bolts in some locations.

Keith, I bought 3.5" studs to use, but I decided to counter sink the nuts into the water pump housing and ordered 3" studs with the reduced wrenching 12 point nuts and flat washers. Mine is a older CSI water pump and a .250" alum engine plate.

How do you use a cam button with that timing cover? I know something goes over the hole but how does it work? Nice looking part.
