TWS, Honestly, I haven't seen one I like but I've seen allot of them on cars that thier owners are quite happy with, it's all a matter of opinion as to what's good enough. Pretty much any of them are "Generally" correct. I can say that I have seen ANY reproductions that are exact t OEM, one vendor has one detail wrong, another has another detail wrong, it's all a matter of what's important to you as a buyer. To be fair even NOS examples have one difference from production line versions and that is lanyard length, most I've seen were longer than most applicatons used to accomodate the longest applications like 3rd generation Chargers, etc. Personally, I wouldn't use anything but NOS on a higher end car build.

This is not for a high end car, hence my original question. Just looking for specific opinions on any repro hood pin kits out there. Dale's Cuda shop was originally recommended to me, and other than the lanyard ends, pin profile, clip shape, escutcheons...I guess you can say they are close. I was hoping that there might be a hood pin kit out there that you can't spot as wrong from 20 feet away. Short of buying a kit from every vendor, I thought folks might have some suggestions on kits that may be a little closer. Perhaps a better question would be who makes hood pin kits? I don't even know how many different real manufacturers/sources there are. What are my choices? Thanks for the info so far.
