I have a set of Indy 440-1 CNC 325 heads on my World Products iron block. I have TTI ceramic coated headers that I chopped the HECK out of them and re configured them to fit an engine mid plate in there and I have a QUESTION.????? I am wondering about replacing the cylinder heads to INDY 572-13 kit and was wondering if the HEADERS WILL BOLT RIGHT UP and if you can use the SAME HEADERS on the DASH ONE heads as the 572-13 heads.. The block has pistons that have the 13 degree reliefs or the 15 degree reliefs that are needed to change the heads from dash one's to 572-13 heads... I am interested if the exhaust manifold boltups are the same and if the exhaust ports are in the same place???? Thanks Gary Oles nosboy

I believe they will work but I went with larger custom headers when I switched to 572-13 heads from the -1's

Your gonna give up power using those small headers with the 572-13's.

FWIW when we went from SR's to -13's, If my memory is correct, there were some minor adjustments that needed to be made. I think the 572-13 are narrower as the exhaust side of the head seems to be machined back a little

I have a set of 572-13's waiting to be ported at modern cylinder and he said his cnc program the exhaust side would fit my headers from the 440-1 set he did for me 2 years ago.

" I have TTI ceramic coated headers "

What size are the headers??? Did you damage the tubes so that it might restrict flow?
Mike

Whatever size that is matched to the 440-1 heads.. I told them what kind of heads they were and they gave me the "right headers" ,, supposedly???
