Any body use that grind on a 906 headed big block? Looks like imo, a good grind for a stock 906 head, where the flow stalls at .500 or so.

Isn't the duration on that cam around 260@.050? Take some high compression andstiff gears to get that to work. Probably a good cheap starter cam for a stroker, though.

The dur at .050 is 272 and adv dur is 320. My actual compress will be 11.0 and gears are 4.56s. The weight is about 3800#s

My business partner put one in a 383 with 12.5:1 (?) TRW 2293s in a nostalgia gasser '62 Valiant with a straight axle. Using bone stock 906 heads, Crane ductile 1.5 rockers and '077 MoPar dual springs (which I hate, prefer Isky 8005A) and an Offy tunnel ram with ONE 850 Holley it runs great. Be prepared to turn over 7000rpm in a 3.38" stroke, 6,500 in a 440 and maybe just over 6,000 in a stroker with standard iron heads, and stall above 5000. Cheap, effective and nasty-sounding, it runs low 7s 1/8mi with only 4.10 gears (needs 4.56/4.88s, IMO)... RB

I ran one in my 70RR. Unknown comp (just used the 440 short block that was in the car when I got it)Mild ported 915 heads. 4500 Converter with 4.10 gears. Went a best of 11.84 in a 3900lb car with me in it, Went 12.10 with the 4 speed in it. I really liked the cam Probably had more in it with a better tune but had a head gasket go bad after putting the automatic in it and it burned the block.
