hi i would like to know what is the best stroker kit for a 383 bored 30 over at this time, i need to get as much as i can out of it ,it will be street driven with power brakes,AC will be added later,any help is apreciated.

Check on www.chenowethspeedandmachine.com or call them i just seen a 431/383 stroker kit on there specials page on sale.

mine is 60 over , with 440 crank 437,
eddie rpms stock
stock 440 rods , new venolia pistons,
i got around, $150, crank
rods low mile 440 not bushed ,new rod bolts
pistons $ 200 , totally in motor for under $7oo
heads where $1300 to the door new ,
$800 in machine work,
could have gained more have it off set ground picked up few cci

I would put(and have) a 4.25 stroke crank with a H beam BB Chevy style rod between 6.5 and 6.7 long and a set of custom pistons with the compression ratio you want, your choice That combination will make gobs of torque and rev like a SB does, depending on the heads, intake, cam and so on

Muscle Motors has a 496 stroker kit for a 383 block on their website.

^ double check there machine work . but its a nice kit for the money ran one 3 years now with no problem in a street car . insane torque.

same as all the others .... double check all specs , assume nothing is ready to run as supplied .
