I have a rather unik 68 Charger.
It has a slant6 and three on the tree, and the car is almost done after a total resoration.

But I need parts(overhaul kit) for my column shifter, it's so sloppy that I can get it stuck in both revers and first gear at the same time.

And I would like not to use a floor shifter but the original column shifter.

Can I get parts for it??

Thanks

No one ever rebuilt a column shifter

I don't like to put a floorshifter in it

Thanks

I am sorry I can't be of any assistance, but I just wanted to say that is one very cool car you have there!

Could be just bushings. If it doesn't use bushings look for holes that have become oval. Hopefully there's an exploded drawing of it in the factory service manual and you can see what the wear points are.
Could also be the rods or levers are bent, or there might be adjustments you can make.

Thanks for your help
The slop in my case is in the steering column, not the linkage or bushings.
I will take it apart once again and see if I can fix it, I have a lathe so it's just some more work i guess.

Thanks
