i finally got the 440 installed in the car, now i can't seem to keep the block heater from blowing out of the block. all i have to do is rev it up a few times and out it comes. are block heaters one time use? i took this one out of the 360 i pulled out. any ideas????
thanks Shane

Never heard of one falling out. Does it have the v-shaped part on the backside that snugs up against the inside of the block to hold it in place when you tighten the bolt? Maybe the v-shape part doesn't contact the block properly allowing it to slide out? Having heard stories of the freeze plug style heaters weeping antifreeze I went with a heater that fits into the lower radiator hose instead. I bought one from NAPA that looks just like this one. http://www.amazon.com/Kats-14800-Lower-Radiator-Heater/dp/compatibility-chart/B000I8XD3K
