I have a set of the first batch of 440 source heads. Yeah, I'm a little slow but health issues prevented me from finishing up the engine I'm working on. Have some crane adjustable rockers to install on them with a roller cam but the intake pushrods won't line up completely on cylinders 1, 2, 7 and 8 as they contact the side of the intake runner. Would the best way to correct this be to grind off the side of the intake runner or to get some offset rocker arms. Anyone else have this problem/experience in correcting this?

I have the same heads on my 440.I run solids and Erson iron rockers.Mine just clear with 3/8 Crane push rods.Mine line up perfect. The only problem Ive heard is some with 3/8 rods need clearanced so they dont rub.Never heard of them not lining up.Rocky

Just grind them to clear. It won't take much. I had to do the same thing with my Stealth heads.

had to grind my Stealths too with 3/8 rods. Take them apart before grinding and wash up afterwards. There is alot of meat in there- I took over 1/16 out. Mark area with crayon first.
