RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,041 Lincoln Nebraska	the best bang for the buck would be a set of 302's(direct bolt on) or better yet a set of magnums( but they require some mods).To ans your guestion 974's have larger(340-360)type ports & open chambers so for a stock(I'm assuming) 318 I would say that they would not be & could possibly take you backward. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
