you might check challengerforums.do you really want to give price diff from an rt.my 2010 rt runs plenty good enough to keep a lawyer on retainer.seems checking to see where comp. cuts off at [140]is a big problem.

i've got an 09 R/T and love it! The SRTs are setup more for the twisties, but the R/Ts will hang close with them in the 1/4 mile. the new 5.7s are great!

I prefer the 5.7l with MDS because it will get 25-26 MPG on the highway, and the VCT helps torque. The best I could ever get with a 6.1 auto was 22. The other thing I don't like about the 6.1 is the perceived lack of torque. The 6.1 pulls harder at 80 than at 40....so it's in the programming. Easy fix with a programmer but stock it just feels weak. I would hold on a few months and wait for the 6.4, it's reported to have 470 hp & 470 lb/ft....stock!! Good luck

Do the 2010 6 speed Challengers even have MDS?

I am not sure about the 12.29 but if you do a moparts search there is a post where it ran 12.44 and there is another post where the car chasis dynoed at 440hp to the wheels corrected numbers the srt=8 is a beast.
with the 2011 challenger coming out you have 2 ways to go.
1. wait for the dealers not to mark up the new srt-8
2. get a deal on the 2010 srt-8 since the new one is rolling out.
