I dont have the spindle struts but I have the fixed position dynomites... it uses a cross over tube so both pads move together... I get as much braking as my tires can handle

Not aware of any "kits" out there that incorporate anything other than the single piston caliper.

Yes I do. But I went with a non spindle mount set up. Like the spindle mount wheels more but did not like the brake options with my heavy car.

Well my car is light, 2250# without me, but it still doesn't feel right to me. Matter of fact, it won't even hold still with the linelock on in the driveway. This setup was already on the car when I bought it. I'm wondering if maybe something is plumbed wrong? I don't know anything about brake systems, never really messed with them. I've bled these to make sure there wasn't any air in the lines and everything seemed fine. They seem to have plenty of pressure at the calipers although I don't have a gauge on them to know exactly how much. I can put a second caliper on each side because my spindles have the mounts on both sides of the strut so maybe that would help?

Do you have a adjustable prop valve on them....I had to really cook the fronts so they became effective... just dont over heat the rotors

Yes there is a prop valve and it is screwed all the way in. I believe that means it is giving full pressure to them right?

Correction: I just went to the shop and checked and the prop valve is on the rear brake line not the front but it is screwed all the way in. So if I understand the system correctly that means I've got full pressure to the front brakes if there is no prop valve on them right? It also means that I've got full pressure to the rear brakes if the prop valve is screwed all the in correct?
The front brake line runs from master cylinder to the line lock and then out from it to a tee and of course then to both sides of the front brakes. Could something be wrong with the linelock that would cause the front brakes to not work correctly?

It is possible you have too large a diameter master cyl. Do you know what Dia the piston is in your master cyl? typicaly you would want a 3/4" diameter

No I don't know that info. It looks to be a Strange master cylinder. I am assuming that when the car was built this was all bought and installed at the same time. So I'm going to assume its a Strange master cylinder but not sure of the piston diameter.

From the way it sounds your doing ALL of your braking with the front tires... open up the prop valve so the rears are doing MOST of the work(if this is a big tire race car)

Yes its a big tire Top Sportsman car 33.5 x 16.5 tires. I was under the impression that if the prop valve is screwed all the way in that gives full pressure to the rear tires? Is that not correct? If thats not correct then I am definitely not giving my back tires any pressure because the valve is screwed in as far as it will go!

On mine its just the opposite from what you have...
plus mine is on the fronts.... a prop valve is meant
to slow the fluid on a spike but it will balance out
after X period of time.... you know that the fronts
cant brake as much as the rears just due to the size
and a race car doesnt dive like a street car

where does the line come off of the master cylinder that is going to the front brakes???It should be the one closest to the mounting flange. If that is correct next we need to know the brake pedal ratio. I have that same brake setup on a 3000lb bracket car that runs 160 and has never pulled the chute.

How does it do on stopping power at the top end? Are you running two separate master cylinders?
I ran it like this when i had a 750hp motor and it was no big deal. Now i have a 1100hp motor and plan to run nitrous also so it becomes a whole different story. I chose to not go test with it when i had the chance a month or so ago because i was scared of these front brakes! I just want to make sure everything is right before i go to the track with it. I guess i need to get a pressure gauge and see what ive got there.

Not sure on that one without looking at it. I will look at it tomorrow and see. How do i measure brake pedal ratio? That kind od stopping power is what I'm looking for. Dont wanna mess with the chute unless I have to. And I wont ever race it on the 1/4 just 1/8 so probably 145-150mph will be where I plan on being with this car on the 1/8. I feel like an idiot not knowing anything about this stuff but I just havent ever messed with brakes.

Go to www.thebrakeman.com their pads work even better than the polymatrix. The only way to go better yet is titanium rotors. Good Luck!
