I had just had my steering gear box rebuilt and I need to put it back in. My question is the pitman arm is off the gearbox so how do I find the center of the turn so I can put it back on the gearbox?

Turn it all the way one way to lock and then count the turns the other way until it locks and divide by two. Then turn it back that many turns and you're centered.

Leave the roll p[in out until you are 100% sure it's centered correctly.
