I'm in the process of restoring a NASCAR 426 (HEMI converted to Wedge heads in the 70s) that was raced in an altered T-Bucket in the 80s.

You can see it here:

It has some really strange looking oil line. I wonder if that was a NASCAR trick or if it came later during the dragracing days of this engine.

Your toughts are appreciated!

Why not just call the Pettys and ask them? They are still working out of the old shop in Level Cross, I think, doing restoration work.
If you can't get to them I know that the Arrington's are still in the engine building business, doing late model stuff. Joey might not know, but I think that Buddy is still around. Just a thought.

Call Mike at Rocket Restorations www.rocketresto.com. Thier shop is in Olympia, they know a TON about those early NASCAR pieces and he's right in your home town! Lucky you! (Oh wait, you already did! )

I left a couple of messages at Maurice Petty and associates. If you have some business adress in Level Cross, please let me know.
