but then looked and yikes hese a nut case in all respects. takes off weight with good intention but then adds on double the pounds of patch and hardware.

I also think he someday wants to be a welders helper on a chrysler K frame line. LOL

this is one of my favorite comebacks by a poster defending him
"Don't hate on a diy'er. Why help out a overpriced vendor when you can do it yourself"?

this is the pitfall of DIY on tv shows..they make it look easy..
i am a contractor/remodeler..some of the stuff these homeowners try to pass off as accpetible...is laughable at best..and dangerous most often at worst..

Was any bailing wire involved?

If not, it's not true fabrication!

Man what a hack job.

I could just imagine the laugh that would erupt in the tech line at an AMA race when that thing rolled up...

Jamie, how would yo like to be running next to that guy at road atlanta down the back straight. Waiting for that exhaust can to make an exit... SHEESH!

Halfway through the post I thought, this is SO bad it has to be a joke right? Right?? But as I read further it looked like it was actually for real. And the other guy who wanted it added to the tech archives

Also, the guy has one of those pictures of dogs playing poker on the garage wall - that should have been a warning right there.........

This is hilarious, I was laughing so hard as I was reading this......and then the guy clamps the brush with his teeth, the funny part is that you can see the guy is trying so hard to keep a straight face while being filmed.
I love sarcastic threads!!!!!!

OMG I can't believe what that guy went through to accomplish what could have been done in half the time with a roll of duct tape.

Honestly, what worries me most is the possibility of driving down a road behind a guy like that when things fall apart!

That thread will become epic - I guarantee it!

...I think your on to something there, because there thread mentioned they only had 4700 views in the last month & its jumped to 10,xxx in one day, & picked up 16 members. Some one compared it to Punked & Jackarz, an attention getter for there site.
...What busted my gut was about the lost muffler, "your exhaust didn't fall off, pretty sure it committed suicide".

I have lived long enough to realize that violence is rarely the solution to a problem.
But I really think a good punch in the head might be just what is needed here.

funny stuff, it was mentioned he "He knows his shyt" lol, can't understand how putting 25lbs of weight on one side would ever be better than taking off 27lbs of balanced weight
if his tuning skills anything like his fab skills a backfire probably blew the can off
