Should he buy repro stuff or some of these Hurst shifter packages that are available?
He can buy a brand new Hurst Comp Plus shifter, but he'll have to buy the repro rods from Brewer's or someone on eBay (about $85.). Like I said, he may be able to put together a package for less at Brewers. Remember, he needs the floor hump, pedals, linkage, clutch package, shifter, rods, boots, trim rings and on and on.
