I'm restoring a 67 GTX and don't have a hood for it but have a good hood from a 66 Belvedere, are 1966 and 1967 Belvedere hoods the same? It seems that the curve where the bezel goes is a little different curve from the GTX bezel.

The 66 hood is not cut out on the underside for the GTX hood scoop fasteners.

I know it doesn't have the holes to mount the GTX scoops. I'm asking about the curve in the front of the hood around the head lights bezels. They seem to be a different radius. I'm wondering if this is true or if I'm mocking this up incorrectly. Thanks for the help.

The hood doesn't fit real close to the bezels on the 67 Belv/Sat/GTX's.There's actually quite a gap where the hood iscurved to match the bezel. If you have the 2009 Year One catalogue,go to page 573 and you'll see the front of a 67 GTX.I'd snap a pic of mine but it's in storage for winter.Post a pic of the problem area and I'll take a look at it to see if it's the normal gap.

Hoods should be the same. Trim along the leading edge, lettering, ornament could differ.

Once you put the bezels on you'll close the gap by the hood. They wrap back a bit and stick up to fill the void.
