i have the indy external pickup with the screw on filter and want to replace the pump portion, any prefferances. this is a new build so i thought i'd just get a new one. 7000 to 7200 rpm max. 528 ci. just wondering whats best or who's to stay away from.

P and P , System one and Titan are all good pumps . I just bought a Daileys engineering dry sump pump its pretty trick

The Milodon dual pick up oil system should be avoided like the plague . Spend a bit more money and buy a pump that wasn't designed 25 years ago and doesn't work half the time .

If your talking about a bracket motor or a N/A motor under 700 HP I would and do use a Mellings or Speed Pro high volume pump main body with your top Clean it and isnpect it before use of course

I've neen using a Milidon with no issues besides green gasket failure but bought the MMotors deal. I think I'm going to upgrade on the next rebuild though, maybe a Titan or System One.

I just use a Melling standard volume oil pump on my 500" low deck that BigCube gave me. Pumps plenty of oil.
