Did Chrysler ever offer a heated seat option on the original Challengers? I found a set of what appears to be factory heat strips under a set of Challenger front bucket seats with wiring plugs on them. Just curiuos!

no heated seats.

If the seats are from a 73 or 74, you are probably looking at the weight sensors that were part of the seat belt interlock system. If there was weight on the seat, and the belt was not buckled, the car would not start.

I thought it was just for a seat belt buzzer??? It really disabled the ignition?

I know it is only a buzzer for 1973 but I believe it was an interlock in 74.
