I have a 87 ramchager that have cloth seats. they have a smell from the truck sitting for a couple of years. whats a good way to clean them?? have them seating in the basement now. iwas going to use a mild soapy water and scrub them and let them dry?? any ideas?

Unless badly stained use Fabreeze. Does a good job at killing odors.

Do you have access to a vacuum with the upholstery attachment? That would be a good way to deep clean the seats. If not then the frabreeze would work, spray them down and let them dry. You may have to repeat the process a time or two.
