I was thinking that the jam bolt's that go thru the cover and against the bearing cap's was torqued at 10 ft#'s, but I lost the paperwork and my mind is going away,,, anybody know what it is supposed to be??.

your not looking to Preload it just hold it from moving. 10lbs is fine.

It ht even be a little less, just have it hold with no pressure.

My sheet says 35lbs on the cover and 10lbs support bolt.
