Whats the easiest way to replace a fuel guage in a 68 roadrunner any tips would be helpful. thanks

pull neg batt cable. drop steering col a bit. set clean rag on the col to protect it from the dash. take out dash screws and pull it forward just enough to take off the 3/8 nuts for the large ammeter leads and evenly pry off the round connector that plugs into the printed circuit pins and any other loom or bracket that's connected to the dash & keeping it from coming out.
