Besides Shumachers, what options are there for good underchassis headers for a 440 in an A body with manual steering? I noticed TTI listed their same part # for 440 headers in A,B,& E bodies. Dougs didn't list any 440 A body headers.

Has anybody used the 2" Dougs B body headers in an A body? Thats what I happen to have laying in the shop.

I would get TTi Headers. The Hooker Headers fall way too low on some cars.

Ask over in the race section. I believe there are some that have tti, maddog and some others possibly.

Hooker doesn't make a under chassis header for BB a bodies that I know of.

ya got 2 choices
Schumachers for auto (but they can be made to fit s stick car

tti's full length (either 2" or 1-3/4"), nice but they capture the starter

if you are skilled, know how to think in 4dimentions(lol 3 is enough but 4 would sure help) at once and have the right tools you could build your own out of 180degree U or J-bends with a flangekit and some collectors

Here's a thread with pics of the maddogs.

Doesn't look like any of the tubes go outside the engine compartment.

I am building a 71 Demon with a 440
auto. I got the TTI 2" ceramic coated
under chassis headers for mine.

I have an Alterktion front end on my car.
So no steering box. It is rack -n- pinion.
(manual)
Going to use the mini starter same one that
is on my Dakota pick up.
