I have a willwood kit on mine. A true bolt on kit that works great. My car is a 68 that had 10" drums originally.

https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...e=2#Post6021309This seems like a good choice. See the post for the brakes.

What I am wanting to do is get a good quality kit for this summer year and later summer get the rears that will match the back... I drive the street alot so not into a race only setup... (or is that overstated by the mfg)? I currently have the rear dr diff kit so ill be upgrading that also...

If your brakes and ball joints are good you could almost pay for the swap.

Me too!!! I also have the Wilwoods on my 68 Dart both front and rear. The fronts bolted right on with out replacing the spindle like you used to have to do.

Mine is a race only kit just like my, valve body, converter, etc lol.
The biggest difference over the drum brakes is the fade or lack there of. The drum brakes were strong on a panic stop but could only pull it off once or they were to hot to function well after that. The willwoods don't fade at all and in fact seem a little stronger with some heat in them.
The only thing not street friendly about the "race" kit is the amount of brake dust. A good day of driveing and the front wheels are pretty dirty. If they didn't look so good and the caliper wasn't 1/16" away from the wheel i would run some brake dust shields and not worry about it. For now I will just wash the wheels more often.
