so you going to drop about ??? 5-6,000.00 ??
got it like that ! ! !
i say buy an aftermarket block..
Run the cage out the front, take out the t bars put a coil over front shock Tubular upper and lower arms lot of weight off the front and cheaper than 3500.00
better headers
Beadlocks really not necessary and honestly people will cry about them..LOL at least the people you are looking to race.
Good luck this year
You can buy a Strange strut and brakes for 2K but of course you need the chassis

What's wrong with the headers that you have? You don't need bead locks. Maybe some wheelie bars???????? Na,maybe a titanium oil pan.

No, all I have is a set of cut to fit 3/8 ball and cup that I keep in the trailer in case someone needs a push rod at the track... all the rest of my stuff is ball and ball pre-made
Just thought id ask.....Once I get the final length, ill be asking every SB guy I know. Someone will have a set lying around that their not using and will sell me....HOPEFULLY!!!

I'd like to start the year out right with a successful full pass at the Hangover Nationals. Ever since my car was finished a couple months ago I have been trying to track down a problem with my tranny or torque converter. The engine was over revving by half track and I've had to back out of the gas every time I've run the car. I started by sending the converter back to PTC, they said it was loose and sent it back to me "fixed". Still did the same thing, so I contacted John Cope and we started looking at the tranny. Checked pressures, a bit low, but within range. He sent me a new valve body to try, and that didn't do a thing. Sent the tranny back to him for a thorough inspection. He didn't find a single thing wrong. John has been great throughout, a real stand up guy. So... I just purchased another converter from another manufacturer. It shipped today and I'll have it in the car for the "Hangover Nationals" at Speedworld on New Years weekend. I hope that the new year will bring an end to the problems and a successful season of racing

Its year 5 on my N/SS project. 3 different jobs in the last year didn't help. The bodys in my buddys home paint shop waiting (its's next in line). All the metal work and cage are completed. I'm getting the last parts machined to assemble a aluminum internal push button 727. The Dana is set-up, I'll disassemble it to paint it. The engine has been mocked up for clearance checks. Block needs only a hone and slight trim of the deck. Seats and door panels are off to a secret facility for "government" upholstery. I still have to build MSD mounts,Lexan windows, and mount the accusump, alternator, and vacuum pump to the motor plate. Then brake lines and wiring. Just about everything else has been fabbed and prefitted. Oh ya,I need to restore the vintage American 200S wheeels and polish the stainless. That about sums it up. Doug

I just got my engine back from my friend/machine shop/engine builder after taking it in for its 500 run / 4 year check-up. All it needed was rod bearings, even the valve springs were good. So its back ready to go back in the car. I might get my headers recoated besides that and getting my backup 904 ready I`m not really doing much else.

Nothing...Car is probably gonna stay dormant for the foreseeable future. Maybe once we get moved to Vegas and settled in I will get back to it. Then again maybe list it for sale and see what happens. It is all fresh and ready to go.
