NHRA Rule book says "no truck axles", so if you want to put a Dana in the car, it has to be a more expensive car Dana housing with the snubber mount rather than a pickup truck Dana? Is a Strange S60 acceptable?

This info is for a friend of mine.

It simply means that the axle needs to have been available in a car. Chevy trucks had a Dana, but it was never used in the cars so it's not available to the GM stockers, where as Dana was used by Chrysler in passenger cars it's legal for Mopar stockers to use.
