Just got it in yesterday, gonna angle machine the injector bosses down and plumb it for a fogger kit. It seems this is a wot type intake so I hope it lets my cam work a bit better up high...solid in the 270s-280s@50. Dealing direct with indy SUCKS, but im sure thats no surprise...now along with the "im bothering you to buy your part" feeling a nice lil unmentioned processing fee on the invoice is always a great feeling. Running a six pack and the big plenum? area and nos I wonder if a blowoff plate on the side may save parts if somthing pops??? Ive some dyno time set for next month for my 452 small block stroker, gonna run my oem modified intake and do a direct swap of intakes with my carbs, however with a jet chenge. Any input on the power difference across the board on this intake vs oem???? My cam like to run to 7600, I feel the oem intake falls off at 7k, I hope this one wont

Hehe, NEVER buy direct from Indy!! If I need anything from them, it will come via a dealer such as Bob, Best, MM and so on. Lots of great dealers for Indy on this board. Anyway, please post your results, that big inch smallie should make some good power, good luck with it!!

It looks like a blower manifold with a 3 deuce plate added. I would guess your low end performance will be compromised.

Im not really worried about low end, if you consider under 5k low end. My plate kit is 1/2 spacer, I ordered a one inch spacer off the bag so I will have a good 1 1/2 inch to speed things up. With all the spacers and plates, I plan to index it all and drill and press small roll pins like used on carb bases, maybe overkill but if you have ever had a throttle blade stick on somthing...well. One of the things I did like about the oem was the runner length, just not the path. Thanks to those for the positive emails and help, esp one I consider a good source for info/tech and a nice guy vs so many keyboard cowboys who wish they were actually wrenching or even had a car to wrench on. Spacer off the bag, Im going to have one issue, one my plate kit, the 50cc pump wants to hit the nos fitting By the end of the week I will have thing functioning, time for some I cant drive 55 music

Those heads look Kinda familiar...
I like your pop plate idea. It might be tough to figure out your spring psi for it unless there is some formula for that. Ive never gotten a chance to read into that at all, so Im a little curious.
Thats one nice lookin set up, now what ya gonna do with your sweet stock sixpack intake? you have some serious time in that baby.

Thanks for the link thats exactly what I had in mind. Can you please order one for me now Its a 1 1/4 hole one should work. The heads and valve covers are just for mochup, im gonna put my carbs back on until the spacer plate arrives or pull my valve covers and plumb the noids...not sure in what order yet. I need to check the lash and so might as well pull my deep covers and start bending. I found my dipstick as well. Yep Kasey, Im not sure what to do with the old intake, probably keep it and toss it on another project. Its one part I cant/wont let go cheap...just too much time/money in it. And really if this new setup dont pick me up a good bit im going back to the modified oem.
