You can't get much under them stock.
With the springs moved under the frame and a mini tub I got an N50-15 M&H or a 28X12.5 MT or a 28X10 slick.
Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

FYI, my first car in high school was a '65 Formula S Barracuda. What a ride for a youngster. The fold down back seat and trunk panel made for some good times too.
