Other than the gearbox, what's needed on the steering column? Is there a lenght difference?

thanks

Yep, the manual box is much shorter.

That's the adapter you need to use the shorter PS column with the MS box. You can find them on Ebay and from a number of Mopar & aftermarket suppliers. Best price is normally around $75 but I've bought them as cheaply as $55.

Thanks. I may place an ad here to see if anyone wants to swap the whole PS column/gearbox set for a manual set. I see the re-built gearboxes are pricy: $300-400. It's probably cheaper to get a $50 used core and re-build it. I'm going racing and want a "firm feel" at the top end.

I'd swap you if I had time to pull my manual setup...I'm tired of wrestling the wheel driving around town. That plus the steering is so SLOW...I look like I'm driving a school bus whipping that wheel around...
