Sorry, I can;t help with the Wilson spacer as I have never used it.
We did put an APD Black Widow carb spacer on my motor when it was on the dyno and it did make some impressive gains.
I have yet to do an actual on track back to back test with an with out yet though.

I have tested the Wilson dominator reversion spacer on a 700 HP motor, it increased the power by 8 HP at and above 5000 RPM I have not tested it on the car at the track, it(the test) was on my 518 that I ran the six pak on, I had switch intakes to a Team G dominator intake and tested several 1050 Dominator carbs, the six pak made 10 HP more(same torque ) than any of the 1050 Dominators did including the tests with the spacer

4150
Test were done on the first build we did. Intake was a Team G and the carb was my APD alky 950.
It was our intention to do some on track testing with it before I tried saving the $$$ for one but never got the chance due to my luck.

interesting as I'm going to run my 6-pack on my new motor even know everybody tells me I'll make more power w/ a single 950....

What intake? The older 440-2 (4150 flange) intake show good improvement with the addition of a 4150/4500 adapter. I done some testing with a 4" toilet with and without the adapter at the track back to back runs. The toilets holes are slotted which will accept both bolt patterns. It was worth a few numbers on the time slip. BTW. IMO the wilson is more or less a shot in the dark. Too many variables, cam size, intake plenum, piston speed. To say if the engine will respond with the spacers. I will say I have never seen one loose power though.
