i got around to looking at the dana i bought to have cut down its out of a 73 motor home on one of the braces it marked 70 so guiess its a dana70 insted of a 60 its got a 4.56 gear

will 60 parts fit? ifso what kind of locker(no spool) will work? i had a buddy that had a racecar thad had a 60 in it with some sort of locker that would lock both axles if 1 tire spun till you back up then would be like a single track but i have no clue what it was called but kinda liked it asi want to drive on street so what locker would/should i be looking for?

powerlock case is bigger.
Have empty case available if you go that route.

Sell the dana 70, if you can, and buy a Dana 60 I bought a cut down Dana 70 from Bob Mazzolini that came out of John Diana old modified Duster that Chrysler made for him with 7.17 gears in it( I installed some 5;13 in it), it was a heavy rascal The ring and pinion gears are not interchangeable and the Dan 70 has two completley different ring gear offsets buy a Dana 60
