I'm getting a thunk sound, but only when I'm making a turn. It's a 69 Charger with a dana 60 and 391's.Is it possible the oil is thickening and the slip (clutch plates?) is sticking? It's like it's skipping in the turn.

If it is a posi it may jump around cause that is a GM name. Mopar is a SURE GRIP. Did you sure grip friction modifier to the lube??.

a good working sg should be a little tight

inside tire should want to skip/shudder/spin a little bit in a real tight, slow turn

r&r the gear lube and add the aditive to the oil

are ya sure its not low on oil?

when was the last oil change for the chunk?
