I dont know if HS is the best. But they are very good.
I would think T&D or Jesel is the best.
But now you are talking about spending ALOT of money.
I had good luck with crane gold rockers, i just had to change the adjuster screws in them.
I ran those on my W2 heads.

the only flaws i saw with them was the adjuster screws.
It is money ahead to pay Smith Bro's $75.00 and get very nice adjusters!!

And you're spending how much on this ?
Harland Sharp..........at a minimum.
You can spend less and wonder if it is good enough I suppose.
For what you get in quality , extra features and piece of mind .......... they are a bargain.

I agree. This is no place to try to save money. Actually, it Jesel or T+D for me now. HS are a pretty good alternative.

Are they the LA or Magnum version?

I'm one of the odd people who went with the magnum version and I used the hughes magnum shaft roller rockers. Awesome pieces.

I can't see why the same hughes roller rockers for the LA shafts would be any worse...

IMO, I would definitley give the hughes rockers a look.

Not taking anything away from the harlands, but I think the hughes are just a better rocker. I dont know that to be a fact, but it's definitely my opinion and I do own both.

If they are a shaft style rocker set up the difference in price between T&D and Harland Sharp isn't $100.00 So why not have the best. Call T&D and ask them, there are great to work with. (775)884-2292.

Ok let the bashing begin. I have tried a lot of rockers with my Eddie headded 422. I was having a problem with clearance with my 1.55 springs. The best and most material I found on a roller rocker was C.A.T. I had to clearance these rockers for fit and they still had a lot of material for strength. I know how most people feel about forign parts but they have worked for me when others have not.

I just got a new set of HS this year got them from Mike at HS the total cost with shipping was 647.00 I had spoke with T&D at the PRI show at the same time they wanted over 900.00 for the same thing and the HS will clear a larger od spring.

Anybody used the old comp magnums (not pro magnums)?

I called RAS the other day, and they can setup shaft mounted rockers that are bushed ductile iron up to a 1.6 ratio for $255 if you send in your old stuff. These are adjustable and non roller tip

I ground the pi$$ out of my Hughes rocker arms to clear my Comp 930 springs. They've been on the engine for a year and half with no issues.

I have a good used set of sharps that have been cut to clear the 099? comp spring, they were used with a mild roller .623 1.6 ratio, never had an issue with adjusters. I don't know why I have not created anything in the for sale section, but I really should. My Sharps were always failsafe.

Here you go.
Problem solved.
I have a 1.5 set , but I haven't decided if I will use them again or not, so they haven't made it to the for sale section yet either.
I would not have a problem running used H.S. rockers for a solid street build.
They are also re-buildable.........something I don't think you can pull off with bushed rockers.
