The aluminum intake on my 97 pickup was warped at the rear of the intake and also where the belly pan bolts to the intake. Bought a new intake from chrysler which comes with a new belly pan and gasket bolted on. I posted about a month ago concerning warpage and someone i believe posted that they would also re-seal the new belly pan before installation?? Would this be a good idea or just leave it as is from the factory? Thanks guys

I will tell you this.
I bought two used trucks from diiferent dealers during the late 90's.
Both were 360's and had been reflashed and the plate gaskets changed.

Guess what I found???? Both had the work done but both had the crimp washers still spinning on the bolts. Apparently the tech torqued them down to spec but was asleep.

The bolt holes were not drilled deep enough!!!! Bolt bottomed out first.

I was quite impressed.
