When the car is completed.. with the front up 1" then
use 0 camber, as much as you can get for caster and
1/16" toe in also make sure the rear is square in
the car... at the same time you might want to get it
scaled so they can set the pre-load... I always take
mine to Jakes Automotive to get it done (Sterling Heights Mi)

I would also add..take it to a place that does 4 wheel alignments as Mike is saying that it all needs to be squared up..

they use a Laser to sight it in and the rest is as Mike suggested

on my car they picked the front up to where its barely touching and zeroed the camber..

I also put my weight equivalent in the seat and 1/2 tank gas, with the front end up a bit; the point being to duplicate on-track conditions.

Strip and street are two different alignments. They have different requirements.

Here's where to start.

Confirm chassis height is set. Equal side to side.
Adding weight to the seats will effect chassis height and the alignment, although it will be minor.

Confirm the rear tires are in line with the centerline of the car. It's called thrust angle.
You want zero thrust angle.

Steering gear needs to be centered. This centers the pitman and idler swing.

The centerlink should be parallel to the surface of the ground. If not, raise or lower the idler arm.

The following is for strip:
Camber should be zero.
Cross Camber should be zero.
Cross Caster should be zero.
Outer tie rods should be equal in height and equal in distance measured to the inside of the wheel.

The steering arm can be heated and bent to correct height and distance after Cross Caster has been set to zero.

Set toe to 1/16 to 3/16 toed in.

There is only one place that is local that does great front end work. Old school guys, with loads of experience. I trust their work but they are not race car guys.

Thanks for the specs.

Adjust the 2 cam bolts (see the red arrows)
Keep the adjustments simple as the 1 st post states. 0 camber, .06-.09 toe in, and as much caster as posible
